Posting Frequency

Some post daily, some post every other day. Some post weekly and others post… infrequently. That’s me!

When I first decided to start writing history-focused material in order to put them up on this website, I thought that – at the very least – I’d be publishing multiple times a week. Alas, it’s not the case.

Slow process

It’s a me issue. I am a slow researcher and a slow writer – even when assisted by an AI. This means new material is added whenever it ready and not on a specific schedule.

Personally, I prefer it that way since I am more happy with the results when I take more time. But I suspect it does have a negative impact on my website in terms of traffic, visibility and client / visitor retention.

Minds & Bluesky

I’m not much of a social media guy. TBH – as I see it there aren’t any reasons to spend a lot of time on it and I certainly don’t. That said, Historium Content does have a minuscule presence on Bluesky and Minds.

Someone told me it was a good way to get “known” and drive traffic to my website. Jury is still out.

In the end

Although I’d like to published new content faster, it’s likely not to happen for a while. I still work full-time & everything and – as noted above – I am slow when it comes to research and writing.

For the foreseeable future, folks can expect infrequent posting of the history-focused content I enjoy publishing. As for the Minds and Bluesky go, the level of engagement from my end will probably remains the same.

It might even go down even more as we get closer to better weather and all the outdoor stuff that come with the season.
